What's important to you?

As you know, over the last few weeks, we’ve been working to protect the surgery and staff at Clements House. So far we’ve listened to the PCT, to Dr Gorai and even other doctors in the area. We’ve talked amongst ourselves, and we’ve begun to form ideas about how we should move forward, but before we go any further, we need to talk to YOU. SWFSOS, are a group of patients who are committed to making the patient voice heard. We are trying to make sure you know what’s happening before it happens, giving you time to think, research and react. It is our aim to protect Clements House Surgery, its staff and the services it provides, to listen to the concerns and views of patients, and provide a consolidated voice – giving us strength in numbers

We’ve formed a small but growing group of around 100 supporters, got the PCT listening and interacting with patients, we’ve got the public talking, raised issues and increased local awareness. In addition to this, we’re providing an unbiased, realistic view of the situation to enable you to make informed decisions. We have successfully campaigned for the PCT to offer the representatives of the public and opportunity to scrutinise the summarisation of the consultation data to ensure it is accurate, transparent and appropriate. In addition to this, we continue to monitor the situation, raising and addressing issues as they arise. In short – we are working to give you the bet chance of getting what we feel is right for Clements House Surgery.

We have started a new media campaign which will take us right through the next 6 months, so watch out for us in the SW Focus, and we’ll be launch a series of public meetings to hear your views and to update you on the latest news – so make sure you register if you want an email invitation.
